Day 1 Flight to Murun
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to airport and take a flight to Khuvsgul province by domestic airline. On arrival at the domestic airport of Murun town, the center of the Khuvsgul we will greet and meet our drivers. Visit a famous site of ancient deer stones as named Uushig. Stay overnight in Ger camp. LD

Day 2 Travel to Ulaan-Uul soum & meet local horse riding guide

Travel to Ulaan-Uul soum for 164kms. Upon your arrival at a starting point, our local horse specialist guides/grooms will welcome and greet you. Then you will get acquainted with your horse and tack and have a brief instruction for riding Mongolian horses. Today we will ride about 2-3 hours for warming up. Stay overnight in tent. BLD

Day 3 Horse riding to Khurgan river

Start horse riding from Ulaan-Uul. Today we will have a full day of horse riding to the Khurgan River, via Khurgan valley. From this day until last riding day no vehicle will support us, so all our camping equipments, luggage and food supplies will be loaded on back of the horses and be heading to a campsite where we will stay overnight in tent. In the evening you will involve the preparation of dinner and enjoy learning how to make Mongolian dish. BLD

Day 4-5 Horse riding to Khug river & beautiful mountain valleys
In the morning you will be served by tea or coffee in your tent. Then after breakfast everyone will start to pack up. This day we will enjoy full day ride through beautiful mountain valleys covered wild flowers until reaching Khug river. On the way we will visit nomad families and taste traditional dairy products of dried curds, cheese, salty milk tea, and Mongolian biscuit and so on. Talk with nomad people and share their jobs for handling animals and being friends as playing, singing with them will make you more familiar to nature loved unique lifestyle of the nomads. Stay overnight in tents. BLD

Day 6 Horse riding to Tsagaan-Nuur soum
Today we will head our riding to Tsagaan-Nuur soum takes 6-7 hours about 32-37kms. Visit Tsaatan Community & Visitors' Center. The center is facility designed to support the Tsaatan/Dukha/, a reindeer-herding community through improved access to educational and economic opportunities and communications resources, and to facilitate successful visits to this unique community. Stay overnight in local guest house. BLD

Day 7-8 Riding trek to Tsaatans

Horseriding to West Taiga, the area where part of Tsaatan communities live. Due to marshy & mountain track condition we will not ride as fast and all riders will follow same route along most part of the way. Stay overnights in tent. BLD

Day 9-11 Stay with Reindeer people & visit Shaman

These days we will stay among Tsaatan/reindeer people and will experience everyday life and unique tradition of them. Our activities include attending shaman ritual, riding and milking reindeers, processing milk products, talking with people and learning local culture... Stay overnights in tents. BLD

Day 12-13 Horse trek far inside of Taiga

Horse trek will continue deep into the Taiga. We will enjoy riding along Bor Khuyag river valley, is rich in crystals and other minerals, as well as ride through larch forest with beautiful wildflower patches. Second day along Jolgo river until reaching Menge Bulag where Tsaatan families are living. Stay overnight in tent nearby Tsaatan families. BLD

Day 14 Horse riding back to Tsagaan-Nuur
Leave from the area back to Tsagaannuur, we will be full day on riding. On the way riding through picturesque forested mountain and valley. All riders will follow same trail along as we did before when coming to Western Taiga. Stay overnight in tent near the local family who supports us riding horses. BLD

Day 15 Travel to Khuvsgul Lake
Morning our vehicle will come at our campsite and we will continue our travel to the direction of Khuvsgul lake. This day drive will take about 6-7hours. Stay overnight in tent near the beautiful mountain. BLD

Day 16 Khuvsgul Lake
Continue our drive for 4-5 hours until reaching Ger camp at the shore of Blue pearl Lake Khuvsgul. Enjoy walking around the lake or having rest. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 17 Visit to Children's Eco - Club

Today we will visit to Children's Eco-Club based at secondary school of Khatgal village. We can exchange ideas with club members about nature reservation and ecological issues of the area. Also they will introduce you about the club and its objectives, future plans to implement. Evening we are up to a highlight of the day, which is Mongolian barbeque! This is going to be made in real traditional way as the meat dish is grilled with hot stones, and has a unique taste. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 18 Drive to Murun town & flight to Ulaanbaatar
Moring we will drive back to Murun town. Transfer to domestic airport and take a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. End of the service. B

Included: All activities described in the itinerary, Ger camp stay (2nights) tent stay (14 nights), stay in local guest house (1 night) in countryside, English speaking guide service, local mountain specialist guides and pack horses, field cook, all camping equipments, entrance fee to Protected Area and sightseeing fees, all transfers by 4WD Russian minivan in the countryside. Meals of breakfast, lunch /picnic during the ride/ and dinner as mentioned per day itinerary.
Excluded: International transportation to and from Mongolia, travel insurance, hotel stay in Ulaanbaatar, mineral (bottled) water and alcoholic drinks, sleeping bag, tips and gratuities, laundry and items of a personal nature.
