Day 1 Sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar & Train to Erdenet
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to train station. Departing by night train to Erdenet. LD


Day 2 Biking to Bulgan towndfds

Arrival in Erdenet and we will meet driver and cook. Starting the biking tour from Erdenet city. Arrival in the evening in Bulgan. Stay overnight in tent. BLD (69kms by paved road) 

Day 3-7 Biking to Tsetserleg town

Full five days we will biking from Bulgan town to Tsetserleg town. Stay overnights in tent. BLD (309kms by land road)

 


Day 8 Relax day
Relaxing day in Tsetserleg town. Visit Buddhist monastery and the market. Stay overnight in tent near the Tamir river. BLD

Day 9 Biking to Tamir river

Today we will biking along the Tamir river. Stay overnights in tent. BLD (60kms by land road) 

Day 10 Travel to Bayankhongor town

 Drive to Bayanhongor town for 150kms. Stay overnight in tent near the Tui river. BLD 

Day 11-13 Three days biking to Arvaikheer town

Three days we will biking from Bayanhongor town to Arvaikheer town. Stay overnights in tent. BLD (204kms by land road)


Day 14-16 Biking to Kharakhorum town
Three days we will biking from Arvaiheer town to Karakorum town. Stay overnights in tent. BLD (63kms by paved road and 100kms by land road)


Day 17 Visit to Erdene Zuu & Travel to Khognokhaan mountain
Visit to Erdene Zuu (Hundred Treasures) monastery, built on the remains of Kharakhorum city in 1586 by the order of Abtai Sain Khan, descendant of Chinggis Khan. It was the first Buddhist center in Mongolia. Surrounding the monastery there is a wall with 108 stupas, of which 25 are on each side and 2 at every corner of the wall. After lunch travel to Khognokhaan Mountain Natural Reserve, was venerated by the Orkhon Turks. The area has been protected since 1997, and it covers 46,900 hectares of Khognokhaan Mountain, is made of granites of Paleozoic age and surrounding beautiful places. Here you can enjoy the unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi type landscapes all in one location. Walking near the small sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai or 'Sand Scrap'. Stay overnight in tent. BLD (90kms by paved road)


Day 18 Travel back to Ulaanbaatar
Travel back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. End of the service. B


Included: All activities described in the itinerary, train stay (1 night) and tent stay (16 nights) in countryside, English speaking guide service, specialist guides and field cook, all camping equipments, entrance fees to Protected Areas and sightseeing cost, all transfers by 4WD Russian minivan in the countryside. Meals of breakfast, lunch /picnic during the cycling/ and dinner as mentioned per day itinerary.
Excluded: International transportation to and from Mongolia, travel insurance, hotel stay in Ulaanbaatar, mineral (bottled) water and alcoholic drinks, sleeping bag, tips and gratuities, laundry and items of a personal nature.
