Day 1 Flight to Bayan-Ulgii
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to airport and take a flight /3.5hours/ to Bayan-Ulgii province. Our local staff will greet and welcome you at the airport. Travel to central village of Sagsai soum, an administration unit of local area for 35kms. Stay overnight in Ger camp. LD

Day 2-3 Visit Kazakh family and lesson, practices
Today we will visit nomadic settlement of Kazakh families. Their Gers are slightly larger than Mongolian Gers, and are decorated with brightly colored rugs. We will enjoy their hospitality and artistic skills of playing Dombor-Kazakh musical instrument and singing songs. These days we will stay with Kazakh families to learn more in deep about their culture. You would be taught main methods for playing Kazakh Dombor and singing Kazakh songs. Also you will have a great chance to see how Kazakh people train Golden Eagle for hunting. Stay overnight in the Ger of local family. BLD

Day 4 Travel to Uriankhai family
Travel to Umnu river where we will stay 3 nights with Uriankhai families, one of the ethnic groups of Mongolia. Then you will experience nomadic lifestyle in the western Mongolia and specially, you can feel and understand meanings of melodies by Mongolian musical instruments which are originated from natural and animal sounds. Stay overnight in the Ger of local family. BLD

Day 5-6 Learn how to play Tsuur and Morin Khuur
These days you will listen to traditional long songs, and learn how to play Tsuur, a unique traditional instrument of this area. Imagine that you play an instrument while sitting in the bank of the river where surrounded by majestic mountains, as listening to sound of flow and feeling an inspiration from scenery... Also in the evenings we are able to listen to praise songs by melody of Morin Khuur, the famous musical instrument-horse headed fiddle which registered at World Heritage List. Stay overnights in the Ger of local family. BLD

Day 7 Flight back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast we will transfer to local airport for taking flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. End of the service. B

 
Included: All activities described in the itinerary, stay Ger camp (1 night) and Ger of local family stay (5 nights) in countryside, English speaking guide service, entrance fee to Protected Area, RT domestic flights, all transfers by bus in the city and by 4WD Russian minivan in the countryside. Meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner as mentioned per day itinerary.
