Uglugch Wall Ecolodge
Brief Introduction
Uglugch Wall Ecolodge (the "Ecolodge") has been established since 2007 at the initiative of local community and has been actively operated since 2009 through the expanding its business activities with the financial support of our joint venture company U & W LLC.
The Ecolodge is located in the eastern region of Mongolia and/or at the junction of the eastern verge of Khentii mountain range (continuation of Siberian Taiga) and the Khurkh vast steppe in the west of the Dornod Mongol great steppe, which is combination of unique natural beauties of the homeland of Chinggis Khaan.
When run our business, we aim to operate without causing negative impacts to the environment, to support and empower local culture and to create additional income for the benefit of local community. And we annually implement some small scale projects jointly with the local government in accordance with certain plans for local development.
We do our best to provide our guests with high quality service and make them satisfied with the stay in our Ecolodge.

- For the environmentally friendly and responsible business concepts, we generate energy from solar and wind sources and prepare foods for our guests using boigas produced by modern technologies relying on local resources. So when you stay here you can feel you are real responsible traveler.
- We offer our guests different types of traditional and European foods prepared by fresh vegetables grown by ourselves in fresh soil of the countryside, ecological fresh meat and milk supplied by local herdsmen, natural wild fruits, medicinal and tea herbs picked and processed according to appropriate technologies. Our location
Our Ecolodge locates (N 48024'24.7'' E 110011'51.4'') at Narst pass, Khurkh Bag, Batshireet Soum, Khentii province – 365 km from Ulaanbaatar, 182 km from Undurkhaan town of Khentii province, 60 km from the centre of Batshireet Soum.
Route to the Uglugch Wall Ecolodge by car
1. Moves from Ulaanbaatar through the eastern central road, passes Baganuur City (130 km), the centre of Tsenkhermandal Soum of Khentii province (60 km), Jargaltkhaan Soum (25 km) by paved road and turns to the northeast and moves to the centre of Umnudelger Soum (60 km) through the unpaved land road. Then moves to the centre of Khurkh Bag (formerly Khurkh brigade) of Batshireet Soum (85 km) through the land road towards to Batshireet, Binder and Dadal Soums and turns to the northeast a near the our Ecolodge address board and reaches to the Uglugch Wall Ecolodge after travelling 5 km (by travelling upward and downward).2. Start from Ulaanbaatar traveling to Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake (220 km) locates in Tsenkhermandal Soum, then continue on travel to Baldan Bereeven monastery (40 km) in Umnudelger Soum of Khentii province. After your exploration at the site you can continue your trip to Uglugch Wall, the famous historical place about 80 km drive. Our Ecolodge locates 1.5 km far from the Uglugch wall by walk and if drive it takes about 20 minutes for 30 km. You can easily find us with our address board on the side of the main route.
