Day 1 Travel to nomad civilization

Travel for 290km west of Ulaanbaatar to Gurvanbulag community of nomad herders. Upon arrival in the area you will be greeted according to Mongolian tradition and warmly welcomed to nomadic meals and tea. Cultural immersion for nomadic life. Stay overnight in Mobile Ger camp, run by the community
members. LD

Day 2 Learning nomadic technology

Start your morning with nomadic breakfast. You will experience with nomadic life and culture as being friend of family members. The hostess will show and teach you how to produce tasty and nutritious dairy products including "aaruul" dried curds, "byaslag" Mongolian cheese. You can involve in the process and get more familiar with their nature loved unique lifestyle. In the evening you will enjoy learning how to make Mongolian dish. Stay overnight in mobile Ger camp run by the local community. BLD
Day 3 Experiencing horse based culture

Today you will watch how Mongolian skillful cowboys catch horses by "uurga" - traditional wooden lasso and train an untamed horse that has never been ridden before. Milking mares and you may participate by holding the foals next to their mothers and churning airag, fermented mare's milk. You would
see blending process of Mongolian traditional vodka called "Shimiin arkhi". No doubt, you'll be invited to try the vodka. Stay overnight in mobile Ger camp run by the local community. BLD

Day 4 Riding Mongolian horse

Enjoy horse ride trip along the wide valley. In the evening you will be filled with a lesson on "Shagai", traditional game. You will play "Shagai" with the family members. Stay overnight in mobile Ger camp run by the local community. BLD

Day 5 Trek through wide open steppe

Morning we will say good bye to community members and leave to our next destination. Next 3 days you will enjoy trekking through the steppe, sand dunes and mountain landscape. Day trek will take about 18-20kms. During the journey our entire luggage will be carried on ox cart and no vehicle will
support the trip. Stay overnight in tent. BLD

Day 6 Trek to a sacred Mountain

Trekking to Khognokhaan, the sacred mountain which was venerated by the Orkhon Turks. The area has been protected since 1997 and covers 46,900 hectares of giant granite mountain of Paleozoic age and its surrounding beautiful landscapes. Here you can enjoy the unique combination of Mongolian
mountains, forests and Gobi type landscapes all in one location. Stay overnight in tent. BLD

Day 7 Exploring cultural sites

Continue our trek to local Buddhist temple Erdenekhamba about 5-6hours for 15-17km. Also we will do round trek to and from old ruin of ancient monastery as called Uvgun. Then continue trip to nomad family where you will stay overnight in Mongolian Ger. BLD

Day 8-9 Riding two humped camel

For two days you will spend your time on the back of two humped Bactrian camel. Followed by brief instruction for riding Mongolian camel you will get acquainted with the camels and tacks. Camel ride will take about 4-5hours for a day. Enjoy camel riding across the sand dunes of Ikh Mongol Els. Stay overnights in Ger of nomad herders. BLD

Day 10 Visit to first Buddhist temple in the heart of Mongolia

Travel to Kharakhorum for 90kms by car. You will visit Erdene Zuu monastery, the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple complex built on the remains of ancient Mongolian capital city Kharakhorum. Exploring around the area for learning more about Mongolian history. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 11 Travel to Khustai National park

Travel to Khustai National Park will take 5-6 hours drive for 270kms.  The area of 50.620ha reserve protects wild Mongolian horses famed as Takhi (Przewalski's Horse). Visit the park to see wild horses and visit Ungut, ancient grave site. Evening we will visit to Mandal community of nomad herders. Enjoy Mongolian BBQ for dinner. Stay overnight in Mongolian Ger. BLD

Day 12 Travel back to urban civilization

Today we will travel for 90kms to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. End of the service. B



Included: All activities described in the itinerary, stay in Ger of local communities (8 nights) in countryside, Ger camp stay (1 night), tent stay (2 nights), English speaking guide service, entrance fees to Protected Areas, all transfers by minibus. Meals of breakfast, lunch (picnic during the treks) and dinner as mentioned per day itinerary.

Excluded: International transportation to and from Mongolia, travel insurance, hotel stay in Ulaanbaatar, mineral (bottled) water and alcoholic drinks, sleeping bag, tips and gratuities, laundry and items of a personal nature.

*We are happy to arrange your hotel and transfers in Ulaanbaatar, private car transportation to our destinations at discounted rate.

*International and domestic flight and train tickets would be arranged due to the clients' requests and wishes with our pleasures.

* City sightseeing tours are offered as optional.
