Its pasture land is homeland of over 60 million herd animals and the Constitution of Mongolia declares that the pasture land shall never be privatized. Our fascination lifestyle has been derived from our nomadic culture. This trip offers you to feel nomadic lifestyle by staying with the hospitable nomads. You will stay with nomads for a few days to experience real nomadic culture and  observe dairy product making process, sheep herding, mare and cow milking etc. Most of nomads have extra Gers for their guests, which are roomy and comfortable. Besides staying in nomads family, you will visit ruin ancient capital city Great Mongol Empire, the biggest Buddhist monastery and wild horses.

Gurvan bulag -TourMongolia

Day 1 Travel to Gurvanbulag Eco camp
Pick up at your hotel and travel to Gurvanbulag soum (a local administration unit) in Bulgan province for 280kms. Gurvanbulag  is a glamping camp initiated by few local families  who live in the beautiful natural reserve of Khognokhaan Mountain. On the way we will visit to Khar Bukhiin Balgas, an interesting remain of ancient town of nomad tribes dated back to 10th century. After lunch at Gurvanbulag eco camp some rest and refreshment enjoy walking to the nearest hillside. For dinner you will enjoy “Khorkhog”, is real Mongolian barbeque, grilled with hot stones. Stay overnight in community based Gurvanbulag Eco camp. LD

Day 2 Experience the unique nomadic life
In the morning visit nomad family & explore a way of living as nomads. Experience the milking cows, goats. Enjoy making and tasting traditional dairy products like aaruul-dried curds, Mongolian salty milk tea-Suutei tsai, Mongolian biscuit-Boortsog and so on. Afternoon half day hiking to small sand dune about 5-6 kms for 2-3hours. Visit “Nomad Library Project”. In the evening you can see our special movies about Mongolian Horseracing & horse training. Stay overnight in community based Gurvanbulag Eco camp. BLD

In the morning, we will attend to a lesson for an hour about Mongolian horse & instruction about riding a Mongolian horse. Before lunch enjoy horse riding tour to a beautiful spot of steppe. Afternoon, we will see how Mongolian skillful cowboys catch horses by “uurga” – traditional wooden lasso and training an untamed horse that has never been ridden before. In the evening, enjoy movie time about “Mongolian wrestler”. Stay overnight in community based Gurvanbulag Eco camp. BLD

Mongolian archery experinece

Day 4 Learning nomad  heritage
In the morning, we will attend in setting up a nomadic Ger dwelling. After traditional food lunch, enjoy Mongolian traditional costume show and dance with locals & taking photo with traditional costumes.  In the afternoon you can try to learn Mongolian archery. Stay overnight in community based Gurvanbulag Eco camp. BLD

Day 5 Travel to Ulaanbaatar
In the morning, we will travel for 280kms to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to your hotel. End of the service. B

Included: All activities described in the itinerary, stay in  community based Gurvanbulag Eco camp (4 nights) in countryside, English speaking guide service, entrance fees to Protected Areas and sightseeing costs, transfer by private car in the countryside. Meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided during the countryside stays.

Excluded: International transportation to and from Mongolia, hotel stay in Ulaanbaatar, travel insurance, mineral (bottled) water and alcoholic drinks, tips and gratuities, laundry and items of a personal nature.

• International and domestic flight and train tickets would be arranged due to the clients’ requests and wishes with our pleasures.

Brief info:  During this tour we’ll visit cultural sites, exploring varied natural landscape by staying days in nomad community. Horse riding and enjoying real horse show would be highlights from this tour. It does not matter if you are bad horse rider of never been on a horseback, our  professional guides will teach you how to ride and choose suitable horse for you level.
Accommodation: Community based eco Ger camp. The camp is located in the central region of Mongolia where forest mountain, rolling steppe and Gobi sand dunes are found in one place. There are 15 double occupancy gers and 10 triple occupancy gers and traditional Mongolian ger restaurant with capacity to serve for 60 persons at the same time.
Dining: Depending on clients flavor we’ll serve by various type of foods including Mongolian traditional, western and even some Asian foods. For those why have special diets or allergic we’ll serve by special foods.
